Chewy Pumpkin Brownies

Hello!! Its Meghan from Cupcakes with Sprinkles! October is my favorite month and pumpkin is one of my favorite flavors… well that and chocolate. So this month I have a yummy recipe for Pumpkin Brownies! It’s soft and the flavors pop. You can taste the rich chocolate and it doesn't overpower the pumpkin. Its a delicious dessert perfect for the fall. We served it warm with whipped cream which was amazing! Pumpkin Brownies with a dollup of whipped cream or ice cream... YUM! Let’s get the things we need and make us some Pumpkin Brownies! Ingredients for Pumpkin Brownies! {Reality Daydream} Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 pan. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. Using a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Take off the heat and let the butter cool for 10 minutes then add in the sugar and vanilla. Then beat in the eggs one at a time with a wooden spoon. pumpkin brownies Add the butter/sugar mixture to your flour mixture and stir until just combined. Divide the butter into 2 separate bowls.  In one bowl add the cocoa powder and chocolate chips and stir to combine. pumpkin brownies1 In another bowl, stir in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon and stir to combine. Pumkin Swirl Brownies! YUM You're going to spread 1/2 of the chocolate batter into your prepared baking dish. Pour all of the pumpkin batter on top. In dollops put the rest of chocolate batter on top and spread around. Pumpkin Brownies FOR THE WIN! Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Slop on some whipped cream AND ENJOY! Chewy and AMAZING Pumpkin Brownies! Yes please!

1 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour 3/4 teaspoon Baking Powder 3/4 teaspoon Salt 3/4 cup Butter, melted 2 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar 1 Tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract 4 Eggs 3/4 cup Cocoa 3/4 cup Mini Chocolate Chips 1 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree 1 1/2 teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 1¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ¾ teaspoon Baking Powder

I used this cutting board to experiment and make some prototypes for a large-scale piece of art I’m doing for our church. It’s got me EXCITED!
