Project Categories & Organization

June 27, 2013 by Bethany Sy

We’ve gotten to the point that we have a pretty extensive DIY portfolio, which is crazy awesome! I’ve been working hard to try and keep the blog as organized and user-friendly as possible, but it’s HARD! And time-consuming! But super worth it.

I added some categories to our sidebar that will make it easier to search for a project, or get ideas for your own project!Sidebar Categories {Sawdust and Embryos}

I also added a new page called ‘Refinishing Techniques’ as a place to compile all of our various ways to update furniture or give it character! When I whipped up this category, I sincerely thought it would be 5 or 6 informative tutorials… but as I went along, there were more and more AND MORE! This should be an excellent resource for anyone wanting to dabble in furniture restoration.

Excellent Resource for Furniture Painting Tips and Ideas! {Sawdust and Embryos}

You can see them below… but remember, these will always be right on the sidebar under ‘Refinishing Techniques’. Enjoy!

    I love it all in one place. I still think one of my favorite finishes you ever did was the raised stencil. I LOVE it.
