Creative CONTEST …calling all participants!

A few weeks ago, I was perusing the internet for storage ideas, and I came upon this 4-tiered unfinished trinket box (affiliate link). I loved the alternating layers and the way the tiers ‘nest’ together when it’s closed. And the fact that it’s unfinished allows for soooooo many possibilities for customizing! Stain? Paint? Mod Podge?

When I originally purchased it, I had several uses in mind… but wasn’t really sure what I would use it for. I wanted to see it first!

You might think I’m about to show you what I decided to use it for and how I decorated it.

Are your creative juices in over-drive?!

So here’s how this works! You order one of these unfinished trinket boxes (affiliate link) for yourself and then give it a makeover HOWEVER YOU WANT! You can give it a mod look, and industrial vibe, a frilly flare… anything! You can use any material (NO RULES!), and can be used for any purpose. The more creative the better!

To participate in this contest, you need to do the following:

• Purchase the unfinished trinket box here  (UPDATE! Please order by March 28th to be included in the contest!)
• Fill out this form to become an official entrant
• Makeover your item HOWEVER YOU WANT
• Take the best pictures you possibly can (natural light!) and email them to me at beth@realitydaydream.com on or before April 30th (we will extend the date as needed if shipping is delayed. We want every one to have at least a week or 2 to complete their makeover)
• You don’t need to have a blog to participate… but if you do, feel free to blog about it!
• UPDATE: the listing that I ordered my Unfinished Trinket Box is showing the same thing only Hexagon-shaped. Who knows… it may show up being round OR hexagon. But the concept will be the same and it will be so fun!
