Exciting thing!

Let me back up… this might come as a surprise, but I’m not one to accessorize. I hardly EVER wear jewelry (other than my wedding ring). I can’t decide if it’s because I’m a plain kinda girl, or just lazy. But that doesn’t matter. The point here is that this has carried over into my home decorating. In the past few months, I’ve decided to make a conscious effort to incorporate more plants and throw pillows into my life.

So when my friend Wendy sent me one of her GORGEOUS throw pillows just out of the blue, I did a little happy dance! Getting packages is fun, but I’m usually expecting something… so this was a super fun day! And having never actually met her in person (loooong story), she knows my taste pretty well.

    Ooooh, love the Decorative throw pillow cover. Silver metallic rose scroll design fabric. It is so pretty and would work in several of my rooms! Nice stuff!

    You were right! Hard to pick…. Mine was described as this… Decorative throw pillow cover with steel blue gray design on one side and tiled look on other. Slight sheen. It’s a pattern pillow with dark gray and a lighter gray on the other side AND its a flip design! The back is a tiled print! I would normally pick bright colors, too and I also LOVE the one she sent you! Mfjmail@yahoo.com

    I don’t often participate in giveaways, but when I saw these pillows, I couldn’t refrain. All the pillows have their own merits, but the one we’d cherish most in our farm house living room is the postal script pillow. It would be proudly displayed near two steamer trunks that once belonged to my grandparents (now deceased). My grandfather used to work for the post office on the railroad, and my grandmother and I enjoyed written correspondence with each other for many years. The postal script pillow is the one that belongs here, followed closely by the blue angel wings pillow. Having either would be like getting hugs from them both.     Talk about difficult to narrow down…I like the blue Ty Pennington Extreme Home Makeover Edition pattern pillow. It would match our somewhat plain couch so nicely. I also really like the spring flower pillows with all the pretty pink and purple flowers. They would just add fresh air to a room in an instant!

    I love the white with black trellis pattern! It would look amazing on my black coach. I would throw a metallic rose in the mix, too! Great patterns…hard to choose just one!

    She has some very beautiful pillows in her Etsy shop. My fav, however, is the white pillow with the orange trellis pattern on them. Very sassy if I do say so myself! I am also partial to the ones you picked out. Love the pink and orange together!

    So many to love so it was very hard to choose, but based on the sofa we want pillows for and the room it’s in I’d say my favorite is the Postal French script print back by a Copen check. There were some others that I also love for other rooms. Beautiful work!

We need new pillows! 🙂 The matching colored “Decorative throw pillows covers indoor outdoor fabric zigzag chevron fabric” would be nice also!
