Well, I wasn’t going to blog today. I guess sometimes I just don’t have anything to say. But I was looking through some pictures from last week, and I came upon this photo. Have you ever seen a more precious sight?
I love it when I stumble upon perfect moments, and have the opportunity to freeze it forever by snapping a photo. No staging or posing, just life as it happens. This particular picture speaks so many things to me. It portrays my husband’s love for his daughter, my daughter’s very first time experiencing the feel of grass, my overwhelming gratitude for my family, my appreciation for country living and our ‘farm animals’, etc!
And I love that each of my daughters can have moments like this with their daddy separately. They may be twins, but they don’t have to experience every special moment together. We find it important to be able to spend one-on-one time with each of them, and develop relationships with them as individuals.
I’m thankful for my family, and the ability to capture moments like this.
Everybody looks so HAPPY!! Especially the dog, lol.
This brought a (happy) tear to my eye!
wow, that photo should be in some kind of contest. So perfect! definitely one you should hang up somewhere! thanks for sharing it
I didn’t even see the kitty the first time that I looked at the picture. That makes the picture doublely cute and doublely oozing with sweetness! Very adorable picture; all the greatest things in life: your husband, your daughter (one of them at least) and your animals. What else can you ask for????
There is a lot of watching going on there – the dog is watching the man, the man is watching the baby, the baby is watching the kitty (and thinking about touching it), and the kitty is exploring the foot. One big circle. Beautiful!
Your daughters are SO adorable, and I love looking at photos of them,… but OH MY GAH that kittyyyyy!!!! (crazy cat lady, right here). aA chubby baby AND an itty bitty kitty in the same photo? My head nearly exploded from cuteness. I also am intensely jealous that she got to play with the kitty and I didn’t.
Such a wonderful picture!
