We’re excited to announce a new cast member… this is Gladys.
We found homes for all but one of Blanche and Lucille’s kittens. We decided to keep this girl around! I have a special place in my heart for her creamy tan/white coat, because my late kitty Gretchen had that same coloring… and I think it’s very unique and beautiful. Gladys is very playful and fun, but she’s terribly shy and, well… skiddish. Sometimes we have to be sneaky to catch her, and we have yet to feel her purr. She’s a stubborn gal.
We’re familiar with stubborn though…

I had a Siamese cat growing up named Gretchen! Too funny!

This may be too weird… But I totally had a dream that your sweet little family and mine were having a picnic day on the beach. Our twinzies were having so much fun playing in the water and with each other. 🙂 I wish I kept a blog so you could feel like you know me too instead of just reading my weirdo comments. Hahaha!

HAHA! Love that we were in your dream! What I wouldn’t give to have a picnic day on the beach. 🙂

Awwwww. My sweet precious doggie’s name was Gretchen! I hand-picked her out of a litter of my friend’s brother’s dog when she was born, played with her every day and my parents let her come home with us when she was old enough. She lived to be 15 years old and died in her sleep 5 years ago. I still miss her.
I’m laughing so hard that Nick commented!!! He cracked under the pressure! I guess you guys are tired of hearing the spay/neuter stuff EVERY single time you post a picture of the kitties (insert tongue-sticking-out-emoticon) 😛
Kate Wall says
Are you going to get them all spayed soon? Lots of state run clinics and even rescues offer low cost or free(!!) spay/neuter.
Nick says
Kate, I typically don’t comment on my wife’s blog, but I feel like this requires a response.
We live on a farm in Iowa, part of the joys of living on a farm is seeing new life in the spring, cattle, horses, kittens etc…
To Answer your Question; we keep all of our animals shots up to date and have discussed spaying our animals one at a time. We are currently waiting on the momma cats in case they are carrying a litter.
