Amish Cinnamon Bread

January 8, 2014 by Bethany Sy

Hey! Its Meghan from Cupcakes with Sprinkles! I’m excited to see what’s new for the new year at Sawdust and Embryos! And because its a new year and instead of making new years resolutions I have just decided to make cake. Lots and lots of cake.  Starting with this bread. It turned out to be the best bread I’ve ever had because its exactly like cake! Crunchy on the outside, so moist, sweet, and cinnamony on the inside. I’ll be eating this for breakfast cause I think I can get away with it. Its the best people. Make it!

Sounds yummy! However a bit confusing, does this make 2 cakes or one? It’s a little unclear where it says: “Spread the rest of the batter on top”, what “rest of batter”, the half that you poured into the second loaf pan? Thanks for the clarification! : )

Vicki it looked like it makes two loaves. It says to divide half the mixture between the two pans, do you still have half left to put on top!
