14 Creative and UNIQUE Ideas for Accent Walls

August 10, 2017 by Bethany Sy

You know I love a good Accent Wall. Or do you call them a ‘Feature Wall’? Whatever you call it, accent walls are the perfect way to add texture, color, and interest to a room without it swallowing you up on all four walls. Can I get an amen?

My very first accent wall I attempted ended up WINNING THE INTERNET when this awkward picture of me painting my Glossy Swirl Accent Wall went viral on Pinterest the very first year that Pinterest was a thing.

It’s not even a pretty ‘styled’ after pic, and I’m in my pajamas… on top of a ladder… with a boy haircut. WELCOME TO MY HOME! Hehe!

Anyway… since this point, I’ve been a sucker for accent walls and finding different unique and creative ways to achieve them. Below I’ve rounded up a TON of inspiring and gorgeous accent walls, and even threw in a few of my own (click the links for the tutorials!) that I’ve pulled over over the years.

And remember, if you want to pin something from this post, PLEASE click over to the corresponding link and pin from there!
