Our Weekend!

June 3, 2013 by Bethany Sy

This weekend, we took a trip to SE Iowa to visit Nick’s parents. His momma and sister (and kids) were back in Iowa for a visit from Missouri, and we were so glad to be able to see them! We had a big ol’ blast, and ate lots of junk food and played with cousins and Nick hogged the newborn nephew that was born on his birthday. It made my uterus ache for a new occupant.

We haven’t had a family picture taken since the girls’ first birthday… till now!

At one point, Nick’s sisters and I were laughing about this picture that I posted over 3 years ago. I laugh out loud every time I see it. So since all the siblings were together this weekend, we decided to recreate this photo.

Hi-LARious.

The sibs

Nick was a little reluctant, but I think he pulled it off ok. Can you see through your tears of laughter? Notice how AMAZING his sister Sarah (middle) looks after having just pushed a baby human out of her body two weeks ago.

We had a great weekend filled with family and laughter… and the weather was even amazing. It doesn’t get better than that.  🙂

Great picture of Nick and his sisters. I love those! And what did we do this weekend? Not grill with you! 😛 We hung up the swing for Kendall on a higher branch. Your girls are going to have to come try it!

I had to do a double-take, that picture of the girls with the blocks looks like there are two Paisleys! We spent the weekend in our pool, it’s that time of year! (and will continue to be until November in South Texas *sigh*)
