New Blog Title

July 28, 2010 by Bethany Sy

I’ve been putting a lot of thought into the new US blog title, and I’m not alone. After publicly asking for suggestions, I got an overwhelming amount of feedback on the matter! Thanks to everyone who offered up ideas!

Many of you suggested incorporating the word ‘design’ into our title. But, while we enjoy being crafty together, I don’t want to limit the blog to one category. But I like the idea of having a word that implies crafting and creativity… while still being manly (for the hubs).

If we’re friends on FB, you remember my status update about Asphalt and Ovaries… and I loved the idea of using something similar as a title for the blog (thanks Meg!). But because ‘Asphalt’ has little to do with our lives, and because I wanted a crafty, design-ish, masculine-esque word… We’re going with Sawdust and Embryos!

Do you love it? Do you hate it?

    I love the new name!
Just wanted to let you know! Also, didn’t know if you meant to spell it with an I or just a slip of the finger…
