Way back in July, you may remember this coffee table/end table set that we brought back from the dead, and our new friend DeVon was the lucky recipient of these pieces. After acquiring said furniture, several months passed, and she somehow fell upon our blog and saw that we do lots of different furniture!! She emailed us, and attached this photo (and a cry for help):
She knew she wanted it to be red, but she wasn’t exactly sure exactly what she wanted, and gave us free reign to be creative. Nick’s creative juices started flowing (the exposed wood type of juices… I mean, wow… that just sounds bad), and he dreamed up this partially painted, partially stained masterpiece!!
When we were at her house discussing the fate of the bookshelf, DeVon asked if we could spice up her sad formica end table to match! Why not?!
We’ve got a whole slew of projects on deck, so stay tuned!
I’m almost embarrassed to say I’ve been stalking your blog literally all day. It’s almost 2am & I’m still here. I was brought here through pinterest…where I’m usually addicted. Just wanted to say I think y’all are amazing at what you do & I love the humor. Now stop being awesome so I can get some sleep!!

PS I have NEVER read blogs.
how did you get it so shiny?
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these! So cute and would match my wall perfectly!
First of all–this isn’t a combo I would’ve ever thought of, but it looks great!
And second–the phrase “the exposed wood type of juices” made me laugh out loud. Classic!
Love it! So into red right now!!
