It’s a Deal

May 7, 2010 by Bethany Sy

In the interest of saving money, I’m always keeping my eye out for good deals. When we first started saving money for the InVitro fund, I would have a violent war going on in my head when it comes to purchasing things that we absolutely NEED as opposed to the things that we just kinda need. It started getting a little out of hand, so in recent weeks I’ve been attempting to loosen up a little.

I figure in the end, we’ll be saving money on marriage counseling.

On slow days at the clinic, I’ve been known to peruse Craigslist out of sheer boredom. And occasionally, I’ll come across some sweet deals! Until recently, we’ve been using tv dinner trays as end tables in the living room. But I found this ‘nothing special’ octagon end table and this sweet vintage lamp, both for only 20 bones!  Love it!

HAHA! Sad, right? Even our pictures were terrible back in the day. This post seems like a million years ago.. but it was only 2.5 years ago! We’ve come so far. 🙂
