Happy Valentine’s!

February 14, 2012 by Bethany Sy

Valentine’s Day became more than just a cheesy irritating holiday for us when Nick and I met on Valentine’s day exactly 4 years ago! You can read that story here. If I were President of the United States, I would mandate that all holiday’s land on the weekend… cause how are we supposed to celebrate on a Tuesday?! Nick and I celebrated over the weekend by reenacting our first date by going to Dublin Bay (thanks for baby sitting Debbie!). Nick got me flowers, and Sunday morning made me homemade cinnamon rolls!

valentine's

My parents sent a sweet little Valentine’s care package for the girls with ‘Valentine’s S’mores’ inside. It was so adorable and creative. That’s my mom for ya! Of course the girls couldn’t partake in the deliciousness, so Nick and I “helped out”… hehe. And my mom made these adorable heart shaped printouts using their names, nicknames, and all kinds of lovey Valentine’s words. They’re so cute, and going straight into their baby albums!
Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

LOVE the heart printouts. Did she use a program or just manually do them? There is a site called Wordle that allows you to create your own poster based on whatever you type in to the site. It goes online, but you’re able to print it if you want.
