This past weekend, the boy-toy and I ventured down to the raging metropolis of Des Moines to paint for a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend! We started with the backsplash.
Don’t you love the blues and grays? You can’t see it in this picture, but Elizabeth has an awesome blue accent wall on the opposite side of the kitchen. And can I add that her design style is completely adorable? LOVE IT.
We then headed up to the master bathroom to paint tile around the perimeter… what. a. job. But very fun nonetheless. And now we can add bathrooms to our tile-painting-portfolio!!
We used some of the profit to get massages. Not really. But we should have.
Oh man, what a day what a day.
That could be really cool! But it sounds like a lot of work 🙂 I would do some research on what kind of paint to use for a surface like that. If you end up going for it, send pictures!!
I have a question:
What if I wanted to do a faux stone or brick foundation?
My house is new, ands the foundations is quite a bit above ground and concrete block… so what if I faux painted it stacked stone or brick?
this is my favorite so far i think..what colors did you use?
This kitchen look might work for mine … have to wait on it though until the parents get moved to town.
