…a couple more favorites.

December 15, 2011 by Bethany Sy

I’ve been slowly making my way through all your recipes you shared on my recipe exchange post… and I have a couple more favorites to share! I love that you all offered up delicious AND easy meals… cause this girl is no pro in the kitchen. You should really consider trying these. I promise they’ll be a hit at your house.

Creamy Italian Chicken (from Ry & Heather)

2 lbs chicken
1 pkg dry Italian dressing
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can mushrooms- optional (i skipped this)
1 8oz pkg cream cheese

Throw it all in the crockpot and cook on low all day. Mix it up (you can shred chicken, but I didn’t) and serve with rice or pasta. This recipe is INSANELY delicious.

Easy Chicken Cordon Bleu (from Ang)

1 box prepared stuffing mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 T dijon mustard
4 chicken breast halves
4-8 slices of ham
4-8 slices swiss cheese (I just used shredded cheddar because it’s what I had and I’m classy like that)

Prepare stuffing as directed. Preheat oven to 400. Arrange chicken in a greased casserole. Top with ham and cheese. Mix soup and mustard, and spoon onto top of chicken/ham/cheese. Cover with stuffing and bake 30 minutes or until meat is cooked through. …this is such a fancy meal, yet so easy. It’ll make you look good.

If you missed it, you can still leave your favorite go-to meal in the comment section of my recipe exchange! I literally have written every single one on a recipe card and put it in my recipe box. It may take awhile, but I’ll try them all eventually! Have you guys tried any of them??

Loved your recipes – the crock pot chicken sounds just about my speed 🙂 Although cooking for one is a pain. More like NOT cooking, but eating cereal or scrambled eggs. Anyway, I will try it on a weekend when I am having company, sounds like a no fuss recipe.
