This year, to avoid the tradition of holiday emergency room visits, we hosted the Klinge family Christmas at our home in the country.
But we still found ways to carry on our normal Christmas traditions… such as Christmas cut-out cookies, oyster stew on Christmas Eve, stockings lined up on the wall, and Christmas carols being sung to piano music!
Our New York family members made the long and treacherous drive to be with us for Christmas. Miles is like a famous rockstar in our family. Everyone can’t wait to get a glimpse of him, or hold him, or watch him walk or coo or sleep.
And Anna found her calling.
It was a super fun weekend, filled with fun and family, a wintry-mix outdoors, and one seriously unpleasant situation on bring the weekend to a close. One that I shall not blog about. The end.
