Sometimes when I notice a pattern in the emails I receive and realize that many people are asking the same question, I decide to just go ahead and write a post about it! Because clearly, there’s a need for good and EASY beginner woodworking projects to help those of you that are ready to dip your toe into the amazing and creative world of woodworking.
There are SO many DIY wood projects you can build with very minimal skills, and very few tools. Many of the easy projects below only use ONE TOOL! These beginner woodworking projects will build your confidence, expand your creativity, and have you asking for more tools for Christmas this year! Scroll on and be inspired!

Great stuff to get people started. It helps to start with simple projects because peoples are more likely to have a go and not be overawed by it.
All you need are the basic power tools to get started and before you know it you have made your first project.

These are indeed simple, and they look awesome to boot! I think I could make these look even nicer even better if I made some precision cuts for fine detailing. I was actually looking into that, and I found this page — the guy there says he was able to build a quality CNC router (for cutting) for about $300. Have you heard of the program he talks about? If you haven’t, no worries, but I thought I’d ask anyhow. Thanks again for these great beginner projects!
