Its Meghan from Cupcakes with Sprinkles. The recipe I have this month is my new favorite! I’ve made it 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I was in the mood for some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and I started to read a couple of recipes and they required several hours of refrigeration. I wanted me some cookies now so I found this bar recipe and I’m so excited I did! They are soft, chewy, and super chocolaty. Everything you’d ever want in a cookie or a bar. They don’t take long to make, so let’s make them!
These are the things we need…
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9×13 baking dish. In a large bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Whisk them together…
Add in the oats and whisk…
Add in the brown sugar and whisk again. Add in the butter and mix with a stand mixer for 1 minute…
Put in the eggs and vanilla and mix until just combined…
Add in the chocolate chips and mix until just combined again. Press into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
