The driving was somewhat treacherous this weekend, but with some skilled driving, we made our way over to Cedar Rapids for a little backsplash painting action. LeeAnn started out with an awkward hunter green kitchen that looked a little something like THIS:

Since that photo, she’s gotten busy with a paint brush and painted the walls a lovely creamy yellow color that I happen to love. So this photo is the mid-point “before’ pic:

Looks to me like a perfect blank slate for throwing around some color in the form of tile-esque squares of paint!


The colors that she chose were great, and leave her plenty of room to change her wall color in the future!
