Exteriors

July 24, 2010 by Bethany Sy

There are a couple things that have been plaguing us lately. The first being this 2 acre slab of asphalt on our property. Nick HATES it and wants it gone so bad. It’s the bane of his existence… to the point where he’s fixing to rip out the whole thing with his bare hands and a sledge hammer.

The second thing happens to plagues me more than Nick… and that would be my garden. This overgrown jungle of weeds is my garden.

Do you think the condition of your garden is any indication of what kind of mother you will be? I hope not.

About Bethany Sy

Nick and Bethany Sy are the creative free-spirits behind DIY/Lifestyle blog, Reality Daydream. They recently purchased a historic mansion and have been documenting the ups and downs of renovation and making this home their own... all while sharing tips and tutorials along the way! When they found themselves in the trenches of infertility, they started a journey that would prove to be their most important DIY project ever, and have 3 beautiful girls to show for it. <3

The condition of your garden tells me that you’re willing to sacrifice the not-so-eternity-important things for what really matters. You’re going to make a GREAT mom. I know it.
