Even though we love to roll up our sleeves and have designed/DIY’d most of the projects in our Family Room Attic space, we love the concept of having a combination of ‘made’ and ‘purchased’ pieces to truly create the vibe we’re going for. I was so excited when Wayfair wanted to partner with me on this Attic Family Room space.
This post is sponsored by Wayfair. Thank you for supporting the fabulous brands that make Reality Daydream possible!
It was so fun cruising through the Wayfair website looking for different items that would perfectly compliment what we already had going on in this space and the projects we’ve already completed.
Their selection is JUST INSANE, so I brewed myself a pot of coffee, and got myself a family-size bag of peanut M&Ms, and dove right in.
In the end, we chose this 8×10 rug to ground the room and make things feel less like a bunch of floating pieces. I love how the orange/rust hints really coordinate well with the orange chair.
I felt the corner of the room that the TV was going really needed something clean and white to balance out the space and not fight with all the patterns and colors we have going on nearby.
Even though I tend to steer clear of things that are overly trendy, I’ve secretly always wanted A POUF. And I’m delighted to proclaim that I’m now the proud owner of my very own pouf. I love that it’s neutral and has such a beautiful woven texture.
There are mannnnny poufs to choose from on their website, but this is the link to the one I bought.
And finally, despite the anxiety I have for choosing and coordinating throw pillows, I managed pull the trigger on this lovely ‘Circle Textured Pillow’. It also comes in a beautiful Aqua color. I love it so much!
Isnt it fun how it’s a bunch of circles of fabric, sewn to create a texture? BRILLIANT!
We’re so incredibly pleased with how this space turned out. You can see the FULL REVEAL HERE!
