- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Egg, room temp
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- ⅓ cup Sour Cream
- ⅓ cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons Water
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a bread pan or 4 mini ones with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar. In a smaller bowl mix together the egg, milk, vanilla, and sour cream. Gently pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon. Pour into your bread pans.
- In a small bowl mix together the cinnamon swirl ingredients. Spoon over the bread and use a knife to swirl.
- Bake for about 45 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes then transfer to a wire rack.
Just wanted to say that I tried this recipe out Tuesday night, and it was a big hit. Even my two-year-old, who won’t eat anything, loved it.
