Carrots, Onions and BEER

Having a garden has proven to be quite a challenge for me, to say the least. I just get so overwhelmed when it’s overgrown with weeds. But while I was at work on Saturday, Nick took it upon himself to weed the whole garden and harvest the onions. He’s a lovely boy.

He was really excited to show me the ‘girth’ of the carrots.

And that there are ACTUALLY little tomatoes on my tomato plants!! Hot dog! I had given up hope that they would produce anything. They’re way behind because I planted them from seeds… and probably because I don’t weed. Ever.

I should make a roast with all this oniony carroty goodness!

    If you put cardboard down between your rows it will help stop the weeds from growing there.
