Jill’s Backsplash

April 18, 2010 by Bethany Sy

Yesterday, the man-boy and I road-tripped to Des Moines to let our creative juices flow… and to add to our fertility fund. You think babies are expensive? Try $12,000 just to conceive!!!

Our new friend, Jill, responded to a craigslist ad we had posted, and hired us to come and beautify her already beautiful gourmet kitchen. It’s amazing what a little acrylic paint can do!

Nick quickly went from ‘assistant’ to ‘partner’ as his math and engineering mind were of great use when mapping out the grid and applying the painters tape. We work great together!

But he refused to paint. Maybe next time.  🙂
