Oh my… what-a-weekend. I should say WEEK because we left Thursday and came home Tuesday evening. Why? Our Christmas gift to my parents was to tear out all the lathe and plaster in their living room, insulate, fix old electrical wiring, drywall, mud, prime and paint. I’ll be the first to admit that I helped about 0%. In fact, it takes a crane to get me out of bed these days. Nick, Tim, Josh, Caleb, Dad, Mom and Carrie chipped in to make it all possible. I consolidated photos into a slide show to keep this post from being super long and boring for those of you that don’t love seeing dirty sweaty guys hard at work. The slideshow will leave you hanging a little bit, because we didn’t stick around for a complete “after” shot. Once the ‘rents finish painting, putting up trim and arranging furniture, I’ll be sure to post the finished product!
And now that I’ve posted this, I realize how boring a slideshow is without music.
I did however keep busy crafting… Mom, Carrie and I are starting up an Etsy shop soon! Can’t wait to get it up and running! Check out our mini-crafting-station next to ground zero. Not too shabby after scraping off an inch of drywall dust to make room.
I love the Klinge house! Looking good!!
Looks like it was a lot of fun!!
If only we had vacation time available to help out 🙁 Supposedly I get a week sometime in July….
Cannot wait to see the final product!
Well done – well done!
