Nick and I have found ourselves in the midst of some pretty absurd projects. Projects that we may not have started if we had known how much time we would need to invest in them. Interestingly, we are working on separate projects. Here’s a little sneak preview of Nick’s project: (I can assure you it’s not a bomb)
As for my project, all I can say is that it involves the sewing machine… which was buried in the ‘catch-all room’ (formerly the ‘studio’). I knew I would be spending a measurable amount of time with this machine, so I set out to make myself a ‘sewing station’ in the living room so I could effectively supervise the girls at play while being crazy-productive. Here’s what this corner of the living room looked like. (This is where I sit and blog in front of that little coffee table!)
(we put a break in the sectional so the heat from the vent can get out into the room)
And here’s what it looks like now!
I invite you to take note of the contents of Nick’s end table.
And the contents of my end table.

Are you sure it isn’t a bomb? Your table looks much safer than Nick’s!
HA… cracked up at the Unabomber/Ted Kaczynski photo! 🙂 I’m super curious to see what the two of you are cooking up! Can’t wait!
Well, your projects may be more ambitious than you planned on, but now is sure the time to get them done–especially Nick’s danger contraption lol!–soon enough you’ll you’ll have 4 little hands believing everything within their reach belongs to them and goes in their mouths!! 🙂
