Blackberry Cobbler Recipe

Hi! Its Meghan from Cupcakes with Sprinkles and today’s recipe is perfect for springtime!

 

Blackberry Cobbler 2

It has a crispy top layer, with a soft, fluffy cake underneath. The juice from the berries gives the cake a deliciously, sweet flavor. This is perfect served warm with some vanilla ice cream. Lets get what we need because you need to make this!

In a medium bowl combine the blackberries and sugar and let them sit for about 30 minutes until they’ve started to release their juices…

In a small bowl combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add in the milk and mix until combined. Stir in the melted butter until there are only a few lumps left…

Blackberry Cobbler

2 1/2 cups Blackberries, rinsed
1 cup Granulated Sugar
1 cup All-Purpose Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Milk
1/3 cup Butter, melted

 

In a medium bowl combine the blackberries and sugar and let them sit for about 30 minutes until they’ve started to release their juices. After 20 minutes preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a small bowl combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add in the milk and mix until combined.
Stir in the melted butter until there are only a few lumps left. Lightly grease a 9×9 pan. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and top with the blackberries and sugar. Bake for 45 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
