Blackberry Cobbler

  • 2½ cups Blackberries, rinsed
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ⅓ cup Butter, melted
  1. In a medium bowl combine the blackberries and sugar and let them sit for about 30 minutes until they’ve started to release their juices. After 20 minutes preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add in the milk and mix until combined.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until there are only a few lumps left. Lightly grease a 9×9 pan. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and top with the blackberries and sugar. Bake for 45 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
