Ahhh Young Love

August 20, 2010 by Bethany Sy

First off… HAPPY WEEKEND. I don’t think I’ve ever looked forward to a weekend more than this one, and we don’t even have any plans! Kinda makes me want to load up Nick and head to the airport and catch the next flight to who-knows-where. I miss my impulsive crazy days.

Like most normal people, I was up at 6am on my day off when I could be sleeping in my 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets (if I had them, and I wish I did). But because I’m incapable of sleeping in (and without extravagant bedding), I sit here quietly with the windows open, listening to the birds chirping and watching the sunrise, sipping on my black coffee…. and flipping through pictures of my relationship with Nick, pre-wedding bliss. And it’s reminding me… how AWESOME our engagement pictures turned out.

These were taken by a fellow Interior Design friend and classmate. She has had no prior photography experience… she just has a great eye, and an ability to make you feel comfortable enough to be yourself!! Can you believe her natural talent? She has since become a full-fledged photographer in the twin cities! Check out her website here.

Just had to share these with you.

I have decided to boycott the wedding scrapbook and just plan to make some sweet photo albums 🙂

I’m the same way Karen! I LOVE pictures and have a TON of them neatly organized… on my computer! I really need to make prints for albums. Someday…

Those really are great photos. A nice thing for you to have. I really need to print off photos. It’s so enjoyable flipping through photo albums and thinking back.
