Oh my gosh. We just adopted the cutest creatures on earth.
Meet Blanche and Lucile. Our girls.
We’ve been keeping our eye open for a calico kitten for quite some time, and yesterday, we stumbled across these cuties! We were planning to only adopt one, and there were five to choose from. I allowed Nick to narrow them down to two, at which point he announced that we were taking them BOTH. My mouth fell open.
But truly, how could we leave with just one? They’re sisters! And need each other!

A-dorable! The one reminds me of our calico, Zoey, though she’s short haired. She’s a feisty little girl and and her little seven pound self rules the roost over her fifteen pound “brother”, Baxter.
I love the name Blanche but I hope it doesn’t offend you that I immediately thought of the Golden Girls 🙂
