Family Photos… as a family of 5! {Molly Long}

January 18, 2016 by Bethany Sy

This week has been a whirlwind of excitement with the launch of the new blog design/name. I know it will take some time to get used to… but you guys have been so amazing and encouraging.

You know how a business will sometimes use a quote from one of their customers on their website or literature to show how beloved they are? I feel like every comment and email I’ve gotten this week could be plastered on my homepage for all the world to see how awesome and supportive you guys are. I weirdly feel like we’re a giant tribe of besties.

Group hugs!

It’s been sub-zero temps here in the Midwest the past couple days, so looking back at these images from our family session with Molly Long is making me yearn for green grass and fresh air. It’s hard to believe this was just a couple months ago!

These girls are always on the move, I find it almost impossible to get a non-blurry picture of them myself… and here Molly finds a way to magically capture these beautiful moments between sisters. These are priceless to me.

I love that we’ve had the opportunity to record the growth of our little family each year with the same talented photographer. (check out previous years here: 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011)… things have changed a LOT in the last 4 years. We know how blessed we are!

    These pictures are gorgeous, as are your girls. My youngest is around 2 months younger than Cypress and looking at the bond between your girls makes me want to add to my family even more than I already did! Beautiful.

    great pics!
    Just a small glitch in the new design to report: the first paragraph always overlaps the featured posts pics, making it very hard to read.

      Thanks Jenn! And thanks for the heads-up on that glitch. Can I ask if you’re using a desktop or tablet? And is your browser on Chrome or Firefox?? We need to get that fixed! 😉

        Hi!
        It’s only when I open posts directly and not on the home page. I use firefox on a desktop computer. I hope you can figure it out!

    Love the photos! We’ve had the same photographer take all of our family photos from the beginning too, which I feel is such a blessing. Love the new blog title and design. Best wishes to all of you!
