Want to know what’s awesome? My IT man (and fine-piece-of-meat-husband) figured out a way to add a ‘Pin It’ button at the bottom of each post! (You have to select the post, not just be on the main page. For example… click on the title above, and scroll down to the bottom of the post for the Pin It button!)This is super cool because it saves you a step when you’re wanting to pin a project to refer to later!
But what I didn’t realize until later, is that a little number is next to the ‘Pin It’ button that shows how many times a photo from that specific post has been pinned or repinned. I got to flipping through my past projects seeing how popular they are among the Pinterest crowd…
I about fell over when I saw that our Kitchen Reveal Post has been Pinned 237,000 TIMES for the glossy swirls technique that I did on the wall! That means that 237… THOUSAND… PEOPLE… liked it enough to pin it! That’s super flattering. And inexplicable.
I just wanted to take a quick moment to brag. That’s all. Because it’s CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY!
Love your kitchen reveal! Saw it a couple months ago and now my living room is the same color! You are awesome! Thanks for sharing! Love the blog!
That’s how I found your blog…from that pin! Now I read it all the time 🙂
This was one of my very first pins when I signed up for pinterest and it got me reading your blog as well! So excited for you! You go, you crazy woman you! 🙂
Same here! Found your blog by that pin. Check every week for updates on the girls and on furniture posts!! 🙂
I didn’t find you on Pinterest, but on Craigslist when you were selling your fabric headboards. Ever since then I’ve been reading your blog. It made me cry sometimes, since we too, suffered infertility. We ultimately had one child with help and then had to wait another five years for another that we ended up adopting.
Congrats on all your pins! Heather
That post is how I found your site! And I’ve been a follower ever since. 🙂
and remember, that’s just “pins” and doesn’t include “likes.”
So, I have been following your blog for years and I think it is crazy that I get excited when I see that someone else has pinned your work! LOL!
You are so talented, Beth! I am not surprised at all! Congrats!! I myself haven’t taken the time to figure out Pinterest, I was referred to your blog by my mom, who I am sure found you on Pinterest. Your fertility journey and twin girls story is similar to mine, but I do not have a SINGLE crafty bone in my body. I enjoy living vicariously through you, though… LOL
Addiction not addition oops!
That’s how I found you as well! Now I check in several times a week and have found a new addition to Craigslist. I love hearing from a fellow Iowan 🙂
That was the pin that brought me to your blog! Now, I can’t wait to see the Friday pictures of your gorgeous girls or what project (and technique) you’re tackling next! Don’t underestimate your awesomeness! It’s off the charts 🙂
Yep. Found you by that pin here too and stuck around because of your infertility struggles. I felt like not only could I relate to you in that aspect but you’re amazingly talented that surely I could pick up a tip or two along the way! 🙂
That was the Pintrest post that made me find you. I fell in love after reading about your fertility quest.
Thanks!
Mer
Yay for you! CRAZY awesome!
