Kendall’s Pretties

December 21, 2010 by Bethany Sy

As a rule, I try not to blog about things that I craft as Christmas presents… at least until AFTER Christmas.  That way the person doesn’t already know what they’re getting! But these are for my baby niece Kendall, and I’m confident she doesn’t keep up with the blog.

Last week, my mom and I had a crafternoon at her place… let’s just say it was super fun. She has an abundance of fabric and supplies for me to take advantage of. I made these hair bows flower headband thingys for baby Kendall.

I was surprised how easy they were to make! I’ll have to do a tutorial for ya’lls sometime if anyone would be interested.

You should see what my mom is crafting for baby Kendall. SUPER CUTE.

Get out your calendar now, woman! I NEED to learn to make these and therefore, we NEED to have a crafternoon! Seriously. I’ll haul myself, my sewing machine, Angie, Megan, Amber, and any other important materials (er, I mean, persons) out to the homestead!

This year, instead of petunias, I decided to use Million Bells (sometimes called mini petunias or Calibrachoa) because they don’t have to be deadheaded constantly. I’m so excited to see how they do! 🌸 Find the tutorial for this planter by doing a Google search for “Reality Daydream Petunia Planter” and build your own!! 🙌
