Homecoming

July 28, 2011 by Bethany Sy

At this moment, the girls are quietly sleeping in the cradle my Grandpa made (that I and my 6 siblings slept in as babies), and thought this would be an ideal time to update the masses:  WE’RE HOME.
And it feels awesome.

To minimize trips up our steep farmhouse stairs to get to the nursery, we’ve added some baby-themed furniture to one wall in our dining room. It makes a lot of sense for us.  🙂

The sad condition of the balloons are evidence of how long we’ve been away.

There’s nothing like being home with your new family. The last 3 weeks seem like a weird dream. And I still look at my daughters and can’t believe they’re mine. Seeing them with their daddy reminds me often… I’m the luckiest girl in the world!

Glad you are home! Now you can settle into your “own” routine with them. Try to relax a little and take all the help that is offered. Welcome home to a beautiful family!

Did not know you had the girls, until a friend of mine found your website so you could paint their backsplash like did ours. They are precious. You and Nick will be great parents. The miracle of live is precious.

Great idea to make a baby outpost on the first floor! Your husband looks like a wonderful dad with his two sleeping daughters and you two have earned every bit of this happiness! Congratulations on having them home!

Oh I thought I was the most genius girl in the world for a making a “baby central” area on the main floor of my home–you’ll be so happy you did that:)
And now the fun begins!! So happy for your your little family..God’s best blessings to you all.
(Isn’t it the sweetest thing to see them cuddled together in one little cradle? Love..)
