Better Blogging Google+ Hangout Video Series (I got invited by the big-shots!)

YOU GUYS… Brooke (from All Things Thrifty) called me last night while I was doing the dishes. Cause, you know, we’re BFF’s.

But seriously, she called because her and Becky (from Infarrantly Creative) and her brother Court (who is an SEO guru) wanted to offer for me the opportunity to be their “guest blogger” for a video series they’re doing on ‘Better BLOGGING’!!! This is super exciting, because we all know I can use all the help I can get!

Brooke said it best when she said ‘If you are a blogger, you are a photographer, writer, social media strategist, SEO expert, blog networker, email ninja and comment king on a daily basis. No big deal, right!?!?’

The down-side is… I’m super awkward in real life, so there’s that.

But I get to ask these blogging experts ANYTHING I WANT! So it’s like a free consultation for me. And everyone (YOU) gets to watch it LIVE on Google+ Hangouts (which is like Skype, only better)! That means you get to learn right along with me! Let’s improve our blogs together!

If you’re not familiar with Google+, do not dismay… I’m not either. But it’s all pretty self-explanatory. HERE’S the link to the Better Blogging Event… it’s happening tonight at 9 o’clock EST.

Here’s to hoping the girls don’t wake up and gouge each other’s eyeballs out while I’m being broadcasted live!

    Hi Bethany! I have to tell you how much I loved this video. I read The Inspired Room and came across this video – that’s how I found your blog! I am a blogger too and have recently decided that it’s time to start trying to promote it some instead of just building content and doing it for fun. I’m really trying to strike the balance between being obsessed with numbers and losing my original motivation and doing nothing at all. This video has really helped give me some practical advice. So glad I found you!

      Don’t worry! It’s going to be recorded and archived on that same Google Events page that I linked to above. So you can go watch it later…. like me! (Since my computer DIED and I missed the last part… HA!)

    Ahh Beth! Yay for you! I will be tuning in to watch. Is it a little creepy that im pumped to hear your voices IRL? I hope this opens tons of doors for you bc u have great content and you deserve it. You’re one of the few with original ideas these days. See u later lady.
