Psycho Backdrop

Remember the movie Psycho? I don’t. I can’t watch scary movies because they give me nightmares. Truly.

But the clinic (where I very occasionally and sporadically work) recruited me to paint a backdrop for their upcoming 65 Anniversary Gala (seriously, people still use the word gala?) AT which the theme is apparently horror movies. I was happy to oblige, because I can use all the hours I can get. And who doesn’t love painting? Especially on a wrinkly bed sheet?!  And it forced me to get my big-ol’ twin-pregnant self up and put some pants on for once.

Final product! Bed sheets are now joining area rug and curtains in my bizarre painting portfolio!

My back hurt SOOOOO bad after this adventure. I might be calling it quits until after the girls… graduate.

    amanda, i can’t find a stock photo of the original star wars image. and without seeing the pic, my backdrop just looks like a big speedometer. 🙂 that’s why i didn’t put it on.
