Kori’s Backsplash

February 28, 2011 by Bethany Sy

Backsplash Backsplash Backsplash! It may be Monday, but who can be dragging on a day like today?! Ok, I’m annoyed with my own energy. Let’s get to the point. We painted a backsplash.  It looks awesome. Feast your eyes.

As you can see, Kori had this existing ACTUAL tile backsplash just over the range. And our challenge was to paint the rest of the backsplash to coordinate and compliment this focal point. Here’s a better close-up.

My front side has the reached that point that it causes discomfort when leaning far into the corner of the backsplash. So I leave that to my lover and enjoy the view.

We agreed to use earthy browns with some metallic grays and charcoals, and we’re lovin’ how it turned out!

In the photos, the grays/charcoals come across looking a little blue. But it just isn’t true. Sometimes photos DO lie. Promise.

Treat yourself to a pastry today. And Happy Monday.

It looks great and I counted “only” 13 outlet/light thingies that you had to work around! Yikes! Anyway, well done!
