Toni’s Backsplash

In the midst of a busy busy weekend, we managed to squeeze in, you guessed it, a backsplash! It’s becoming a weekend staple for us! And can I just say that we’re both thrilled and floored by all the business we’ve been getting thanks to happy customers giving us referrals! We sure didn’t expect our little side business to move into such high demand! It’s literally a dream come true for us to be making money by being creative… not to mention, we get to be together along the way!

Toni and her husband were getting a strong vibe from their kitchen. It was screaming… ‘I’m not finished! I feel naked!’ And so after Katie recommended our services, they were anxious to get some “tile” installed! Here’s the kitchen in it’s birthday suit:

And here it is after! The homeowners liked the diamond mosaic look, and the visual interest that it brings to the table.

They even hunted down a can of mustard paint they had in the basement so we could incorporate it into the backsplash, which helped things flow cohesively into the mustard-painted great room! But it’s still a neutral enough color that if they were to change their wall color in the great room, the backsplash would still be smashing!
