Today was a completely unproductive day… especially considering we’re making Christmas presents this year, and we’re nowhere near finished. Not to mention the massive pile of laundry on the couch.
BUT…
We got to go snowboarding!!! So, it wasn’t a completely fruitless day! It all started out with a little off-roading on our land, blasting through snowdrifts with the Jeep. This guilty pleasure came to a screeching halt, that was all too familiar to me.. as we came to rest in a 4 foot drift. This action led us to get suited up to dig, leading to lots of horsing around in the snow with Reuben, leading to the tumultuous, unrestrained need to strap up and hit the slopes of our yard… and the cornfields that surround our yard… belonging to someone else entirely.
Although the our land seems to be made of an expanse of rolling hills, once you trudge the way to the top of one such incline, it hardly seems to slope at all. Making for a VERY pathetic run on one’s very awesome and new snowboard. BUT… it was magnificent, because we were snowboarding.
