This post was going to be a quick one… announcing that Hannah Goering is the randomly selected winner of our obnoxious necklace giveaway!! Congrats Hannah! Let’s talk! … but as I was walking upstairs to photograph the necklace, I saw THIS out the window:
And I stopped everything to photograph these crazy awesome clouds. I get a real kick out of taking pictures around the homestead, and we regularly have awesome sunsets… but this, well it seemed special. And because we all know that sunset pictures are 100% more amazing in real life than what actually gets captured in the photo, you can just be understanding if you don’t think it’s that impressive.
But I had some fun taking pictures in the unbelievable warm, just-after-rain, country evening. This picture (above) was taken straight up in the sky. Crazy eh?!
And the funny thing, is that the necklace winner …is a photographer! (she’s probably silently scoffing at my amateur photography) She photographed our wedding, and well… we think she rocks. Beth – that sunset needs to be sent in someplace – at least KWWL TV in Waterloo. They showcase cool pics like that during the weather report. Absolutely awesome!
