In the Orange Chair

March 2, 2012 by Bethany Sy

Today, I’m a little moody and… bloated. And I’ve been thinking a lot about whipping up some sort of baked good that incorporates chocolate a peanut butter in an appropriate ratio. I’m also SO sick of my current ‘project’ that I’ve been fantasizing about dousing it in gasoline and setting it ablaze.

But  more importantly, it’s photo-Friday! And here are my princesses sporting a couple little overalls that were mine as a little girl! I realized after taking the picture that the blue overalls (even with the pink lace on the bib) makes Adelyn look like a boy! Especially with her lack-o-hair. If you’re able to overlook that, aren’t the completely adorable?

Speaking of Baby Dell, girlfriend popped a TOOTH this week! YAAAAAAAY! It was an exciting day! And I’m secretly happy that she beat her sister Paisley at something (who was firstborn, first to smile, first to roll, first to hold her bottle, first to laugh, etc).

Such a cute idea! I attempted this with my own twins month-to-month rather than weeks, but I just got way too overwhelmed with taking care of them to actually keep it up. Good for you to come up with a creative and thought-out idea AND stick with it! 🙂

Your babies are beautiful! I miss having a baby at times, though not at night when I’m still sleeping :). It’s been fun to see them growing up!

They ARE completely adorable and completely different! Isn’t it funny how they look so different…mine are just like that. In fact, I personally don’t think my twins look like sisters. Seriously, they could be from 2 different families. But the funny thing is they look more like their older sister than they do each other. Weird how genes are passed down. Hope you have a good weekend. Thinking about you often and want to talk on the phone sometime soon!!!! Love Cryst

Cute picture! It brought a smile to my face when I saw it. My oldest daughter had the same blue overalls when she was a little tyke too! Apparently your mother and I have the same good taste!
