The Basics

July 9, 2010 by Bethany Sy

  • I haven’t used bullet points for a long time, and I miss them from the very core of my being.
  • Nick is mowing and I’m taking a break from painting the mural in the kitchen.
  • Lucile is perched on my chestal region at this very moment… purring very loudly in my face.
  • We are in the midst of several projects that I’m so excited to finish and share on the blog!
  • I’ve been eating a lot of pasta and bread lately, and my body is suffering the consequenses.
  • We’re still saving our pennies to Build-A-Baby.
  • Not saving so hard that we didn’t splurge on new lighting in the kitchen.
  • Speaking of kitchen, we’re almost ready to show you the finished product. Hold onto your panties for just another day or so.
  • We’re painting 3 backsplashes this weekend, in addition to meeting with an Interior Design agency about contracting our services out to their clients… their idea! We’re stoked and honored.
  • Reuben chewed off the framing around his doggie door into the garage and dug out lots of chunks of foam from inside the metal door. Ask me how I feel about Reuben. I dare you.
  • My downstairs no longer looks like the aftermath of Hiroshima.
  • That’s all for now… I’m sure I’ll think of more.
